Clachtoll Beach Campsite Privacy Policy

Welcome to Clachtoll Beach Campsite and this little piece of paradise. We really want you to have a great time when you are here and you will find we may be a little different from other sites in that you will not see lots of signs telling you what you can and cannot do and we are sure that you will understand our values as a family site.

Whilst we want everyone to enjoy themselves there a few pieces of advice we would like you to know however.

All of the staff on site hold first aid certificates, (hopefully you will never need us but we have a large first aid kit!) All our staff are also Disclosure (Scotland) certified and have current PVG certification.

We want everyone to be safe on site so the speed limit is 5 mph through the site and also the road leading to the beach. We value all of you, especially our children and animals so please keep a look out for them. Also parents and carers please look out for the children, they are your responsibility.

We love dogs here but understand that some others might not, so please keep them on the lead at all times on site and clean up after them (we provide free bags and bins) There are also water stations for them around the site and doggy treats in the office.

The toilets are closed for cleaning everyday between 1130hrs and 1230hrs (the disabled and family facilities are available if need be during this time-please ask for the key) Outside of these times the toilets are checked very frequently and it may be that you find a male member of staff in any of the toilets (don't worry we will shout!) NO WETSUITS IN THE TOILETS AT ANY TIME PLEASE (we have an outside shower to wash all the sand off first)

All water on site (in the toilet block and at the pitches is drinking water)

BBQ's are of course allowed on site and you might even find us popping by for a bite to eat, but please keep them off the ground and use the blocks provided.

Campfires are dangerous around tents and are better enjoyed down on the beach.

For noise purposes we do not allow generators onto site and also appreciate that people can often forget the time when enjoying themselves but we ask that the campsite is quiet for 2230hrs. If you want to enjoy yourselves further there is a fantastic beach only 100 metres away where you can continue the fun (be mindful walking back later on through tents and guy ropes)

We understand that lots of out guests bring drones with them and whilst they are fun and give great pictures they are not allowed to be flown over the site for disturbance and privacy reasons.

When it comes to leave, much as though we know you want to stay we ask that you vacate your pitch by 1100hrs as we need to get it ready for the next guests. We will always try and help if you need a little longer to pack or are wanting to enjoy your stay until later in the day.

We reserve the right to remove anyone from the site that we believe is causing annoyance or distress to others and will cancel their booking immediately with no refund. (sorry but we want everyone to have a great time)
