Clachtoll Beach Campsite Terms and conditions

Welcome to Clachtoll Beach Campsite and this little piece of paradise. We really want you to have a great time when you are here and you will find we may be a little different from other sites in that you will not see lots of signs telling you what you can and cannot do and we are sure that you will understand our values as a family site.

Whilst we want everyone to enjoy themselves there a few pieces of advice we would like you to know however.

If you ever need us and we are not in the office during our regular office hours 0800hrs to 1900hrs (times may vary in the winter) we are on site all the time at any of the first 2 static caravans at the entrance gates.

All of the staff on site hold first aid certificates, (hopefully you will never need us but we have a large first aid kit!) All our staff are also Disclosure (Scotland) certified and have current PVG certification.

We want everyone to be safe on site so the speed limit is 5 mph through the site and also the road leading to the beach. We value all of you, especially our children and animals so please keep a look out for them. Also parents and carers please look out for the children, they are your responsibility.

We love dogs here (they even have their own doggy bar, with free treats and poo bags) but not
everyone does so we do ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and please clean up after them and wash
down any areas they use. We do not allow any dogs that are currently banned under the dangerous dogs act and
this includes any other type of dog appearing to be or to have characteristics of a dog in said act.

Our facilities are cleaned thoroughly every day and checked thereafter every hour but just so you know you are more than likely going to find a male member of staff in any of the toilets during periods of cleaning (don't worry we will shout!) NO WETSUITS or animals IN THE TOILETS OR SHOWERS AT ANY TIME PLEASE (we have hot outside showers to wash all the sand off both for us humans and our 4 legged friends)  There are numerous dog parking latches to attach your furry friend to outside whilst you are in the toilets.

All water on site including those at the pitches is drinking water

BBQ's are of course allowed on site but please keep them well off the ground in order that they do not burn the grass. Please don't throw hot water onto the grass either as it causes as much damage as a hot BBQ does. Our grass is very fragile and precious to us. Any damage caused by hot water, BBQ's, fires or pans on the grass or astro turf we reserve the right to recover costs by the named booking party. Our pitches are checked daily after guests leave for any damage.

Campfires are dangerous around tents and they are not allowed and are better enjoyed down on the beach. Please do not make a fire out of any BBQ you may have. If you have a stove with a chimney in a tent/van there must be a spark arrestor fitted.

For noise purposes we do not allow generators onto site and also appreciate that people can often forget the time when enjoying themselves but we ask that the campsite is quiet for 2230hrs. We walk round the campsite every evening to check for excessive noise. If you want to enjoy yourselves further there is a fantastic beach only 100 metres away where you can continue the fun (be mindful walking back later on through tents and guy ropes)

We understand that lots of out guests bring drones with them and whilst they are fun and give great pictures they are not allowed to be flown over the site for disturbance and privacy reasons and outside of the camspite must be flown in accordance with current regulations.

When it comes to leave, much as though we know you want to stay we ask that you vacate your pitch by 1100hrs as we need to get it ready for the next guests. We will always try and help if you need a little longer to pack or are wanting to enjoy your stay until later in the day.
